While welcoming the Saudi ambassador, Fatemeh Hashemi also mentioned Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani's good relations with Saudi Arabia and said: King Abdullah was an honorary member of the Special Diseases Foundation and he was involved in the construction of this hospital. He then continued: Since 2006, about eighteen years ago, a medical clinic was opened in this underserved area and With suggestion of my father, we decided to build a hospital next to the clinic for special diseases such as thalassemia, hemophilia and dialysis; Of course, later we added department for cancer and MS patients. The head of the Charity foundation of Special Diseases said: Our hospital has one hundred and twenty beds, and we have tried to buy all its facilities from the best and most recognized equipment. Dr Fatemeh Hashemi said: The hospital has women's, men's, children's and delivery departments, and has emergency, clinics, imaging department, physiotherapy, and radiotherapy facilities. At the end of this meeting, the Saudi ambassador wrote a memorial in the hospital office. It should be mentioned that Hashemi Rafsanjani Hospital, which was opened on Augest 24,2024, by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is currently serving people and patients around the clock.
